25 new trees, a hedge & a pocket park for Blue Anchor Lane!
Having campaigned hard for three years, we are very happy to announce that Southwark Council has agreed to plant 25 new trees to replace the lost silver birches on Blue Anchor Lane. We look forward to welcoming the new trees to Bermondsey, which will include Gingkoes, Tulip trees and Himalayan Birches.
We have a Gingkoe and two Himalyan birches: 3 done, 22 to go.

We are also delighted to have been awarded a Cleaner, Greener, Safer award to replace the barrier between the street and the carpark with a hedge.
